A Regional Platform for Circular Fashion & Asia–EU Interoperability

Korea–Asia Circular Alliance (KCA) is a regional collaboration platform initiated by CARE ID to advance circular fashion ecosystems across Asia while enabling practical interoperability with evolving EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) frameworks.
KCA is built on a simple recognition:
Circular fashion cannot scale without structured, interoperable product information.
The transition toward circularity and digital transparency represents a structural transformation of the textile and apparel value chain — requiring coordinated alignment between manufacturers, recyclers, brands, associations, research institutions, and policy actors across the region.

Through engagement with European initiatives such as CIRPASS-2, UNECE traceability workstreams, and circular economy networks, KCA contributes to translating EU regulatory requirements into operationally realistic models for Asian circular fashion ecosystems.
The objective is compatibility, scalability, and gradual adoption — not duplication.
