On 9 June 2026 in Vientiane, CARE IDⓒ and Association of the Lao Garment Industry (ALGI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, officially launching 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙊𝙄𝘾𝘼 𝘾𝙏𝙎 𝘿𝙋𝙋-𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 with coverage now out in Vientiane Times.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟳𝟴.𝟱% 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗼 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨 — where ESPR will require Digital Product Passports — EU buyers will increasingly need verifiable production data, at source, from the factories supplying them. The DPP-Lite Project supports Lao garment manufacturers in digitising this data — 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗣𝗣 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗹.

At the ceremony, DAJEONG . (CSO) introduced the DPP-Lite Project, 최재혁 (CTO) demonstrated the CARE ID MVP live, and SUMIN AN (PM) coordinated the ceremony.
