Today CARE ID attended 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮–𝗘𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 & 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, exploring collaboration opportunities within Horizon Europe and gaining insight into future EU research directions, including FP10.

The event provided valuable perspectives through presentations and discussions with researchers, industry stakeholders, and National Contact Points (NCPs), highlighting how EU–Korea cooperation and consortium building are being supported in practice.

One takeaway was especially clear: 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 is not only about advancing technology, but also 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁. This direction strongly resonates with how we approach digital infrastructure for sustainable industry.

𝗔𝘀 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆, cooperation between EU and Korean organisations is becoming increasingly active, particularly in AI, digital infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟰 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 and 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟱 – 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

We welcome collaboration with partners preparing Horizon Europe proposals, and are also exploring joint R&D initiatives related to Digital Product Passport (DPP), circular textile supply chains, and traceability infrastructure.
