In one of Korea’s most important manufacturing clusters — the Banwol–Sihwa district, home to leading dyeing and processing companies — industry partners are working together to accelerate technical innovation and drive a sustainable transition. It was an honour for CARE ID to contribute to this dialogue.
During the session, CARE ID CEO 노힘찬 explored four key themes:
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐏𝐏

Across Korea, momentum is building at the factory level — where supply-chain realities are most visible and where meaningful change begins. A data-driven transition towards circular fashion is no longer conceptual; it is unfolding in real time.
CARE ID is developing 𝒂 𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍-𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑫𝑷𝑷 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 that connects brands, manufacturers, testing institutes and the public sector, supporting the wider Asian supply chain to align with global expectations and the technical recommendations emerging from initiatives such as CIRPASS-2 - Digital Product Passport.
(he formal rules for EU DPP are set by the 유럽연합 집행위원회, not by CIRPASS-2.)
As global experts increasingly look to Korea for leadership, we aim to move beyond simple “regulatory compliance.”
We are testing, validating and scaling real solutions — ensuring that Asian manufacturing can demonstrate what circular fashion looks like when it is practical, measurable and ready for the future.
