As the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation moves toward making DPP mandatory for textiles, today’s fashion students may become the first generation to build their careers in a world where product-level transparency is expected by default. They deserve the opportunity to understand that shift before entering the industry.
We hope to continue these conversations across academia and industry as DPP becomes part of the future fashion ecosystem.

A sincere thank you to Eunjeong Shin and the faculty for the opportunity to share CARE ID’s perspective with the students. And to the 51 students who openly shared their thoughts and questions — thank you. Your perspectives are already helping us think more carefully about how DPP should be communicated to the broader industry.
